Very nice place. Most people and especially the noisy bikers visit the restaurants near the main street. Luckily the place is far enough away from the street, offers great views and decent food.
Very nice and special place with a great view on the valley and hills. Some vegan and a lot of vegetarian options
Great place, great service and great fresh made Italian food sourced from close by. Such a nice experience. Worth to stop and enjoy delicious meal.
Perfect local food. The best tagliata di salumi e formaggi, nicely served on wooden board. Great pastas and secondi piati. Highly recommend the place to anyone visiting the medieval town of Vallo di Nera (which itself is a gem).
Outstanding Italian experience - it's more than just 'mangiare'. You can find there beautiful view from terrace and authentic Italian home cuisine. Very friendly and helpdul staff, family atmosphere. Truly unique. Thank you and see you again in couple of days!
Excellent service, great food. We booked for 7 and arrived in 9 - no problem. Flexibility, forward-leaning staff. Efficient and competent order-taking. Menu adapted to availability of the day, and we had good quality meat dishes. Great house wine. A wonderful view of green landscape in the antique village setting. Take a walk in the little village streets before dinner if you are not staying. Impeccable service and cooking at great vale for money.
Do not hesitate. The trip to Vallo di Nera it's worth, and the village itself it's very nice. And then eat at Taverna del Bordone. Eat at the terrace and enjoy the fantastic view. We, three, always order in a coordinate way, so we can taste as many dishes as possible. I took a pasta with zucchini and guanciale. One of the best ones I've ever tried. And then, lentiles with sausage. Everything was incredible. The people that run the restaurant are extremely friendly and gave us all the explanations. Many productes were either local or even from their own garden. And the price? extremely reasonable. Great place!
Very friendly family run restaurant. The owners are adorable and the food very good and fairly priced, using quality ingredients. Always a pleasure to be their guest and Vallo Di Nera the town is also well worth a visit!
